Tigers Club

The Tigers Club aims to bridge the gap between the golf academy and the golf course. The competitions are held each month here at Cookridge Hall!

The competitions are played over 3, 5 or 8 holes dependant upon the childs wishes and all golfers will play the golf course according to how far they CARRY (in the air) their drivers. So for example a child who CARRIES their driver 100 yards will play par 4's that are approximately 150 yards long and so on. Too often in sports we see children playing on full sizes pitches/courts and this is not good for their long term development.

These competitions are open to any junior golfer, including golfers who have lessons elsewhere but dont get chance to regularly compete!!

The entry fee for each tournament is £5 (payable on the day or during weekly lessons). All children who would like to play must have their own golf clubs and come dressed in smart/casual clothing. Trainers will be permitted. If you would like to get involved then please e-mail Jonathan at jonathan@cookridgehall.co.uk to get registered.

For those children who perhaps don t have golf clubs yet, or maybe are "not sure" about playing just yet, then feel free to come along anyway and watch the action!
